GROUNDSWELL RISING:
Protecting our Children’s Air and Water
Monday, January 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
UUSS Campus
2425 Sierra Blvd, Sacramento 95825

Join us for this film that goes far beyond the subject of hydraulic fracturing.  It is a compelling and optimistic documentary about civil rights, the growing movement to defend our communities from industrial harm and health pollutants, and the tenacious people who are deeply committed to preserving the planet for future generations. After the film, a discussion will be led by Director/Composer Renard Cohen and Producer Mark Lichty. Mark is a member of UU Fellowship of the Poconos, Stroudsburg, PA. This is not just a time to view the film, but a time to voice your concerns and find out how to make a difference.

Groundswell Rising is a transcendent tale of epic proportions where ordinary people are making a choice to stand up and protect the future of their children and communities. http://groundswell rising.com

A free will offering will be accepted after the screening.
